Ice Age is a computer animated film that was based from the plot written by Michael J. Wilson and Michael Berg under the direction of Chris Wedge and Carlos Saldanha as the co-director. The film was created under Blue Sky Studios.
The plot of the film centered during Ice Age era where three paleolithical mammals are attempting to return a lost human baby to its parents because it was separated due to an attack caused by the pack of sabre tooth tigers. Together they journeyed and met a lot of ironies that tested them as they discovered an unusual friendship that was bound a lifetime.
The characters in the film were voiced by the main cast ensemble including Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary, Goran Visnjic, and Jack Black.
The animated film earned its box office hit at $383,257,136 from the budget of $59 million under the distribution of 20th Century Fox.
