Twilight is box office American Vampire romance thriller film that was based from the novel titled Twilight that was written by Stephenie Meyer. The vampire-fantasy film was directed by Catherine Hardwicke and was distributed under Summit Entertainment. It gained its box office hit by earning a total gross revenue of $392,563,465 from the budget of $37 million.
The plot of the film is about a 17-year old Isabella Marie “Bella” Swan who fell passionately inlove with a 108-year old vampire named Edward Cullen.
Twilight is basically the first instalment of the 4-part sequel of the film based on the Twilight Series by author Stephenie Meyer. It composed of the main characters which were portrayed by Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan and Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen. The secondary casts were Peter Facinelli as Carlisle Cullen, Elizabeth Reaser as Esme Cullen, Ashley Greene as Alice Cullen, Kellan Lutz as Emmett Cullen, Nikki Reed as Rosalie Hale, Jackson Rathbone as Jasper Hale, Billy Burke as Charlie Swan, and Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black. The main antagonists of the film were portrayed by Cam Gigandet as James, Rachelle Lefèvre as Victoria, and Edi Gathegi as Laurent.
The film earned a tremendously positive response from the fans, however, it received mixed to negative review from the critics despite earning a box office hit.
